Dr. Brian D’Agostino is an interdisciplinary scholar, educator, and consultant, with professional qualifications and publications that span the social sciences, mathematics, psychology, education, and history. Currently an adjunct instructor at Empire State College, SUNY, he has taught at City University of New York, Adelphi University, and the New York City Department of Education. He holds a Ph.D. and three other degrees from Columbia University, has lectured at venues including the Philadelphia Ethical Society and academic conferences, and has published book reviews and articles including peer-reviewed research in Political Science Quarterly, The Journal of Psychohistory, Review of Political Economy, and Political Psychology, as well as popular publications such as Living City, Z Magazine, and Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists. Dr. D'Agostino is the author of The Middle Class Fights Back: How Progressive Movements Can Restore Democracy in America (Praeger 2012, forthcoming). He lives in New York City.
